We purchased our property in Lake County with "vacation" in mind.  By the time our "Vacation Home" completed, we decided to leave the big city and live here.  
We enjoy our watersports, the outdoor nature activities and the dark skies for Astronomy.  We like it that we can have and enjoy much of our hobbies right in our own "backyard".  This County has so much to offer.  Whether it's the lake, the mountains, the outdoor nature activities or just "getting away".  
As far as Real Estate goes..our prices are still much lower than most anywhere else.
